2026 DL Darryus McKinley stops at Texas A&M for his first college visit

A&M offered Lafayette (LA) Acadiana 2026 defensive end in March, and over the weekend, he took his first college visit as he made his way to Aggieland with his family. They took in the sights surrounding the football program, and a few aspects of the trip stand out in his mind.

The recruiting process is already off and running for Lafayette (LA) Acadiana defensive end Darryus McKinley‍. He has yet to play a varsity down, but at 6-foot-3 and 225-pounds, McKinley has already shown plenty of power and explosion in his game.

A multi-sport athlete, he throws the shot put and runs the 200m for the track team, and he boasts a 245-pound bench max.
