Baseball Thoughts: Texas A&M enters May with back against the wall

After getting swept by Arkansas in Fayetteville, Texas A&M limps back to Aggieland with three vastly important conference series remaining on the schedule. Sitting at 9-12 in SEC play, the Ags' challenge will be to add as many conference wins as possible to their postseason resume.

Pick the phraseology you want to use as a descriptor. They all fit the current status of the 2023 Texas A&M baseball team and season.

It’s weird to say that, too. At least for me, it is.

I’m sure that sentiment is likely shared around the halls of Blue Bell Park, as well.

Back in February, nobody thought the Aggies would be in this spot with nine conference games left, but here they are.
