Notes from "Around the Horn" with Rob Childress

* For him, it’s a sad day because of Bill Byrne’s announcement of his retirement. He’s left the athletic program in better shape than he found it and truly was able to ‘build champions’ on the field and in the classroom. It’s been an honor to work for him and he’s just as competitive as the coaches and athletes. Byrne has always provided him with all the resources he needed to be successful, both at A&M and Nebraska.
