The Fightin' Texas Aggies currently have seven defensive prospects committed in the class of 2024 as Jimbo Fisher & Co. continue building their current recruiting haul. TexAgs' senior recruiting analyst Jason Howell takes stock of the Aggies' efforts on defense.

Last week offense took the stage, and this week it is time for defense.

A few things have changed since last week’s breakdown. The Aggies now sit at 18 commitments — two more than last week — and seven of those commitments are on the defensive side.

One of last week’s additions will be looked at today. He is just a big-time defender, out of a storied Texas program.

Overall, the Aggies are off to a strong start on the defensive side.
