Honestly, I was pretty shocked after my research on the defensive back position at Texas A&M.

The Aggies have not had a first-team All-American defensive back since 1999. That’s a 23-year drought, folks. That’s one All-American since the Southwest Conference era.

If that wasn’t enough, Texas A&M football has not produced a multiple-year all-conference defensive back since Ray Mickens achieved his third All-SWC award in 1995.
