The offensive line takes a special breed. It is not for the faint of heart. It is blue-collar.

It is often thankless and out of the spotlight, and when you are highlighted, it is often for being penalized, beaten or both.

If you are looking for glory, the offensive line is not the spot.

However, its importance is inarguable.

Point me to a football coach, and I can guarantee you he has uttered the phrase, “It all starts in the trenches.
