Time for more: Jimbo Fisher's Aggies need a big season in 2023

With Texas A&M's 2023 campaign opening on Saturday evening, many national pundits have implied Jimbo Fisher could be on the hot seat. While Ross Bjork has said otherwise, it's certainly not a bad time to start expecting more from Fisher's Aggies.

Six years ago, then-Texas A&M Director of Athletics Scott Woodward did the unthinkable.

He demanded more from a college football coach.

“Coach (Kevin) Sumlin knows he has to win,” Woodward said on The Paul Finebaum Show. “He has to win this year. He has to do better than he has done in the past.”

The national media howled.
