A&M QB Conner Weigman vs. New Mexico secondary

There are lofty expectations for Weigman, the sophomore who was named the Aggies’ starting quarterback on Monday. Weigman, who made four starts last season, passed for 896 yards and eight touchdowns as a freshman. He has an excellent group of receivers to target in Bobby Petrino’s offense, and those wideouts project to have an advantage over New Mexico’s defensive backs.
