As a local Bryan-College Station resident, this has been a brutal summer, like it has been for most of you across the state. Aside from a couple of quick showers last week, it’s been bone dry here with no measurable rain for the past three months. So, I was a bit conflicted Saturday when I saw a line of storms heading toward College Station, set to arrive at 3 p.m., right when the Texas A&M and Louisiana Monroe were scheduled to tee it up.
