Defense in Review: Texas A&M 47, Louisiana Monroe 3

After a rough outing in Miami, encouraging signs of improvement from Texas A&M's defense were shown in Saturday's 47-3 bombardment of ULM. With still plenty to improve on with SEC play on deck, the Ags allowed just 222 yards and held the Warhawks to 1-of-12 on third down.

• There really wasn't much we were going to learn about the Texas A&M defense against a ULM team that had averaged under 100 passing yards in two games entering Saturday's Kyle Field date.

What Jimbo Fisher and D.J. Durkin needed to see was a unit that bounced back from a disastrous and, quite frankly, alarming outing at Miami.
