Scattershooting after a busy week on the recruiting trail, for Texas A&M and around the Lone Star State:
 
1. Kevin Sumlin and the Aggies have had a pretty busy week in terms of unofficial visits, hosting Skyline WR Ra'Shaad Samples, Lake Charles (LA) LB Melvin Jones, New Orleans Edna Carr CB Noel Ellis, Manvel WR and LSU commit Kyrion Parker and Westfield DT Hardreck Walker plus commits Reggie Chevis, Jonathan Wiggins and Jordan Points.
