Scattershooting A&M's coaching search: Aggies closing in on a hire?

Thanksgiving has come and gone, and while Texas A&M has yet to fill its coaching vacancy, Ross Bjork & Co. appear to be getting closer to making a hire. Billy Liucci provides an update on the process as the Maroon & White narrows its list.

We're closing in on a hire, folks.

From day one, the goal of Ross Bjork and those involved in finding the next Texas A&M football coach felt like it was to have a hire made shortly (if not as early as the day after) the Ags concluded the regular season at LSU. In other words, if things are still on track (and that's a big if when it comes to coaching searches), we could hear something as early as 48 hours or so from now.
