Fast-paced recruiting stretch about to begin as Elko takes over at A&M

Although he was just introduced on Monday, Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko is entering an important stretch when it comes to recruiting. With the early signing period just a few weeks away, Elko & Co. are expected to be extremely busy on the recruiting trails.

It is about to get crazy.

The next few weeks are about to be as fast-paced as you will see on the recruiting front.

From the start of Texas A&M’s coaching search, there was a reason why there was a targeted decision deadline around late November or early December.

When it comes to recruiting, the contact period begins Dec. 1, which means in-home and off-campus visits can occur with prospects and their families.
