Texas A&M finished off the non-conference portion of their 2023-2024 schedule with a choppy 79-54 win over former A&M assistant coach Byron Smith and Prairie View A&M on Saturday night at Reed Arena. The Aggies jumped out to a 13-0 lead in the first five minutes, but cold 3-point shooting and poor free-throw shooting (7-of-20 in the first half) kept the Panthers in the game at the break 34-21.
