It was a rocky showing by the Aggies in Rocky Top, dropping their fourth consecutive conference game, 86-51. The lackluster performance in Knoxville has knocked Texas A&M off the bubble, needing an end-of-season spark to keep their postseason aspirations alive.

First of all, if you are awake on a Sunday morning reading the autopsy of this game, kudos to you. I’ve seen a lot of ugly basketball in my 40-plus years of closely following this Aggie basketball team, but this clunker is on the Mount Rushmore of historically bad Aggie hoops games. It’s not that Texas A&M lost Saturday night’s game to No. 5 ranked Tennessee on the road. Any team would need some luck and good fortune to leave Knoxville with a win.
