Texas A&M's long nightmare is over as a 70-56 victory over the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens on Saturday night mercifully ended a five-game losing streak. With the win, the Aggies' faint hopes of an at-large NCAA Tournament bid are still alive with two regular-season games remaining.

The streak is broken. Texas A&M held Georgia scoreless over the last six minutes and ended the game on a 10-0 run to comfortably win 70-56 in Athens.

It wasn’t a masterpiece, but the Aggies neutralized the Bulldogs’ inside game and shot just well enough to stay one step ahead most of the night.
