Baseball Thoughts: No. 4 A&M showed its grit in improving to 16-0

The fourth-ranked Texas A&M baseball team remained perfect by improving to 16-0 on Sunday afternoon at Blue Bell Park. Despite surrendering eight runs and the lead in the seventh, the Aggies overcame a four-run deficit and won 12-11 in the bottom of the 10th inning.

When Justin Lamkin walked out to the mound for the start of the sixth inning with a 7-0 lead on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Blue Bell Park, it appeared the Aggies were well on their way to another comfortable victory in non-conference play.

A pair of quick outs in that frame only further caused the 12th Man to put their feet up even more.
