5 Thoughts: A&M's run in Nashville cut short in the SEC semifinals

Texas A&M was unable to make it to its third straight SEC championship game as the Aggies' run in Nashville was ended with a 95-90 loss against Florida in the semifinals. A&M will now wait on Sunday to find out if they did enough to make the NCAA Tournament.

The Texas Aggie basketball team jumped out to a 40-22 lead with five minutes to play in the first half and looked to be well on their way to a third straight SEC Tournament final against Florida Saturday night.

However, a barrage of 3-point goals in the final 25 minutes by the Gators and some untimely live ball turnovers were A&M’s undoing in a wild 95-90 loss that ended the Aggies’ late-season five-game win streak.
