5 Thoughts: A&M's 2023-24 season ends with heartbreaker in Memphis

Andersson Garcia made the insane shot to send Texas A&M into overtime, but the Aggies could not close it out in extra minutes against top-seeded Houston, 100-95. In Buzz Williams' fifth year, the Aggies ended the season with a 21-15 record.

In a game that had the feel of the 2016 NCAA Tournament thriller against Northern Iowa, the Texas Aggie basketball team rallied from 10 points down to number one-seeded Houston with 1:24 remaining to send Sunday night’s contest into overtime.

However, the Cougars would be too much for Texas A&M in the extra stanza, eventually losing 100-95 in Memphis and ending the 2023-2024 season for the 21-15 Aggies.  

Here are my five thoughts from the game last night:
