After finishing an eight-game home stand with a 7-1 record and a sweep of Auburn, No. 3 Texas A&M hits the road for four straight away from Blue Bell Park, beginning Tuesday night in San Marcos against the Texas State Bobcats.

Last week, I posted that Texas A&M sweeping Auburn at Blue Bell Park was a “pipe dream.”

Many of you made sure I didn’t forget that sentiment, and I’d like to think I’m an accountability guy, so thank you.

One thing that’s important to understand about that statement is that it was more a commentary on the strength and depth of the SEC than it was about a lack of belief in this A&M baseball team’s ability to pull it off.
