'Depth' an inescapable word for Aggie defense

The naming of Johnny Manziel as starting quarterback and all the attention put on Texas A&M’s rapid-fire pace on offense seems to have left one very important detail almost forgotten.

The Aggies still must play defense, too.

The reminder came via Defensive Coordinator Mark Snyder after a storm-shortened Friday evening practice. Snyder said the defensive unit has made obvious progress through the August camp, but still needed work.
