Baseball Thoughts: Texas A&M takes the key step from 'Good' to 'Super'

No. 3 national seed Texas A&M went 3-0 on the weekend to reach its second super regional in three seasons as the Aggies will face Oregon beginning Friday or Saturday at Blue Bell Park. From "Good" to "Super," A&M is now two wins away from being remembered as "Elite."

Super: An enhanced version of Good.

OK, maybe that isn't exactly the way Merriam-Webster defines it, but I need you to bear with me for the sake and theme of this article.

Way back in the fall, the 2024 Texas A&M baseball team adopted the motto "Good," which was widely popularized by Jocko Willink.

It's meant to describe the mentality you adopt to attack both the positive and negative aspects of life. Whatever happens, say "Good" and keep going.
