Texas A&M took Game 1 over Tennessee in the 2024 Men's College World Series Finale.

The Aggies got huge, gutsy outings on the mound and found an awful lot of barrels at the dish. The Volunteers had their chances late, but Max Weiner's pitching staff was once again fantastic with men on base. The two clubs are right back at it tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. CT. While tonight was a massively important step, the job isn't close to done. Here are my three takeaways from the win..
