An offseason of change came to an end on Thursday and, in the first of A&M's scheduled pre-game press conferences, talk shifted from the future to the now, installation to preparation and intra-squad to LA Tech.

COLLEGE STATION — Texas A&M Coach Kevin Sumlin held his first pre-game press conference Thursday at the Bright Football Complex, joined by offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury, defensive coordinator Mark Snyder, wide receiver Ryan Swope, offensive linemen Patrick Lewis and Luke Joeckel, linebackers Jonathan Stewart and Sean Porter and safety Steven Terrell. The Aggies discussed several issues heading into the football season-opener against Louisiana Tech in Shreveport.
