DALLAS — A move of the scale enables Texas A&M’s Shemar Turner to move on the defensive line.

Turner — who has added 30 pounds to tip the scales between 295-300 pounds — will shift from defensive end to defensive tackle.

That’s a position where coach Mike Elko always thought Turner should play, and Turner welcomes the move.

“It’s always been a thing because of my body type,” the 6-foot-4 senior said.
