The big news on Wednesday night was that the Texas Longhorns were no longer in the Ricky Seals-Jones business. Obviously, the Horns wanted that information leaked out and that’s exactly what happened less than a week after Seals-Jones suffered a significant knee injury that will keep him out of action for about two months.

The injury to the state’s No. 1-ranked prospect isn’t expected to hinder him long-term, but the Longhorns bowing out is pretty surprising.
