A 20-year career as a college football writer has afforded me the privilege of attending some amazing games.

I was there on a freezing Thanksgiving night when Dennis Allen’s end zone interception ended a goal line stand and clinched a Texas A&M victory over Texas.

A decade later, I saw A&M freshman quarterback Reggie McNeal come off the bench to lead the Aggies to a stunning upset of No. 1 Oklahoma.

I’ve been to the Big House to see Michigan face Ohio State.
