With 300 yards on the ground and four touchdowns, 2025 Texas A&M running back commit Deondrae Riden ran into DeSoto's record books on Thursday night as "Tiger" claimed the school's career rushing yardage and career all-purpose yardage marks.

In Desoto’s 51-17 win over Wylie East on Thursday night, Deondrae Riden‍ raced into the record books.

His 300 rushing yards pushed “Tiger” to 4,034 career rushing yards to break Byron Hanspard’s career record (3,996), and his 4,265 all-purpose yards broke Dez White’s career record (4,012).

After the game though, it was business as usual.

It was just another night. It was just another win and another step on the way to a bigger team goal.
