2026 LB Payhton Porter likes Aggieland's environment and atmosphere

2026 Melissa (TX) linebacker Payhton Porter‍ checks in at 6-foot-4 and 195 pounds, and his frame and twitchy athleticism — 36-inch vertical and 4.5 40-yard dash — have piqued the interest of college coaches nationwide.

Porter is being recruited mainly on the defensive side of the ball, but he has spent time at running back, wide receiver and tight end.
