A win is a win, but No. 11 Texas A&M's 68-57 victory over LSU on Saturday night was far from pretty as the Aggies snapped a two-game losing skid. While the Maroon & White started to rebound like they have in the past, their free-throw issues still remained.

Wade Taylor IV is back. The Aggies are 3-2 in SEC play. Despite playing far from their best basketball of the season, Buzz Williams and Texas A&M pulled away late to end their two-game losing streak and get back to above .500 in SEC play. For a second time in the last four months, the LSU Tigers lost in College Station, thanks to an explosive second-half comeback by the Aggies.

With that said, here are my five thoughts from Saturday’s win:

1. An ugly win is still a win.
