South Carolina hung around late on Saturday night, but No. 13 Texas A&M left Colonial Life Arena with another important road victory in the Southeastern Conference. At 6-3 through nine league games, the Aggies currently sit in fourth place in the insanely strong SEC.

Trap game…avoided.

Texas A&M hasn’t had much success playing night games in Columbia against a South Carolina team that’s much better than their record. Wade Taylor IV got back to his old ways to send the Aggies into their bye week with a Quadrant 2 win. Texas A&M is now 7-2 this season in games decided by five points or less. And as the old adage goes: Great teams find a way to win.

With that said, here are my five thoughts from Saturday’s game:
