With a fourth consecutive loss, No. 12 Texas A&M is watching its March Madness resume take a hit as the Aggies fell to No. 3 Florida by 19 points on Saturday night, 89-70. The Aggies now find themselves fighting to remain a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

The losing streak is now four games.

This is the longest losing streak since the Aggies lost five in a row from Feb. 11-28 last season. That slump left them fighting for their NCAA Tournament lives, but this one has their NCAA Tournament seeding in a free fall. Texas A&M broke out of last year’s slump by winning five in a row and six of their final eight games. A similar run is needed this year to salvage what was on track to be one of the best seasons in program history.
