Ball Five: Sunday blemished A&M's otherwise solid weekend vs. NMSU

Playing error-free baseball for the entire weekend and seeing some ups and downs as it relates to timely hitting, Texas A&M took two of three from New Mexico State at Blue Bell Park. Next up is a Tuesday game vs. Prairie View A&M before SEC play begins on Friday night.

Texas A&M’s third series victory of the season ended in a similar fashion to Cal Poly, with a Sunday loss blemishing an otherwise good weekend of baseball.

The bats were much better, although consistency continues to be an issue, and pitching was stellar as it has been.

Ultimately, this weekend was a step in the right direction for the Aggies, as SEC play is right around the corner.
