For the third time this spring, Mike Elko and the Fightin' Texas Aggies were back on the gridiron as spring football rolls on. Following the open portion of A&M's third spring practice, Olin Buchanan shares a few thoughts on what he saw from the Maroon & White.

In getting a spring practice first look at Texas A&M’s football team on Tuesday, the focus was on receivers and tight ends.

The productivity at both positions last season was serviceable, but there is ample room for improvement.

Leading returning receiver Terry Bussey had 17 receptions for 216 yards. Tight ends accounted for just 29 receptions, and blocking was an issue. Theo Melin Öhrström is the top returner there.
