In getting a spring practice first look at Texas A&M’s football team on Tuesday, the focus was on receivers and tight ends.

The productivity at both positions last season was serviceable, but there is ample room for improvement.

Leading returning receiver Terry Bussey had 17 receptions for 216 yards. Tight ends accounted for just 29 receptions, and blocking was an issue. Theo Melin Öhrström is the top returner there.
