Ball Five: Offense improves as pitching plagues A&M in Kentucky series

Texas A&M finally won its first SEC game of the season on Friday night, but the Aggies dropped their Saturday and Sunday contests as Kentucky took the three-game set at Blue Bell Park. While the A&M offense finally produced, the pitching regressed significantly.

Texas A&M won its first SEC game of the season over the weekend but dropped the final two games to lose the series to the Kentucky Wildcats. The Aggie bats came to life this weekend, but the pitching could not match the offensive performance. The opposite has been true so far this season, but the team has still yet to put together a complete weekend performance.
