Combining subpar pitching and an abysmal offensive showing, the Fightin' Texas Aggies sank to a devastating sweep at the hands of the Missouri Tigers. From this point on, the only way for A&M to save its postseason hopes is through perfection in Athens.

Texas A&M’s postseason aspirations came crashing down to earth as the Aggies got swept in their final home series of the season by Missouri.

The Tigers were 0-24 in conference play before last weekend, but they left College Station with a trio of wins. The Aggie pitching staff was subpar, and the hitting was abysmal, especially in the last two games of the series. At this point, perfection is the only way the Aggies could find themselves in the postseason.
