Relationships push Texas A&M over the top for 2026 DB Camren Hamiel

On Wednesday, Texas A&M welcomed the 12th commitment in its 2026 class as Goodyear (AZ) Desert Edge DB Camren Hamiel gave his pledge to the Maroon & White. After making his decision public, Hamiel spoke to TexAgs about what pushed the Aggies over the top.

Texas A&M welcomed the 12th commitment of the 2026 recruiting class on Wednesday, and the Aggies tapped into familiar territory as they returned to Goodyear (AZ) Desert Edge for one of the nation’s top defensive backs in Camren Hamiel‍.

The Aggies offered in January with defensive backs coach Bryant Gross-Armiento leading his recruitment, and in the spring, Hamiel made a couple of visits.
