Safety Chance Collins becomes 14th member of Texas A&M's 2026 class

On Wednesday, 2026 safety Chance Collins ended all speculation as he made his Texas A&M decision known over fellow finalists Texas Tech, West Virginia and Utah. After making his announcement, Collins spoke to TexAgs about why he's headed to Aggieland.

Sunday evening, Mansfield (TX) Timberview standout safety Chance Collins‍ turned heads when he announced a top four of Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Utah and West Virginia, along with a decision date of Wednesday, June 11.

He was coming off an official visit to Texas Tech, and there was some strong momentum rolling the Red Raiders' way.
