As the calendar flips to July, Texas A&M currently has 21 commitments in the class of 2026, with several big-time prospects nearing decisions over the next couple of weeks. As the momentum rolls in Aggieland, Mike Elko and his staff deserve a ton of credit.

Welcome to July — the last month without college football until February.

For many, these are known as the Dog Days of Summer.

For Mike Elko and the Texas A&M recruiting machine, these should probably be known as the “Dazzling Days of Summer.”

What the Aggie head man and his staff have put together on the recruiting trail since the start of June has been more than impressive.
