ATLANTA — Heisman Trophy candidacy runs in the Manning family.

Archie Manning finished third in the 1970 Heisman voting. Peyton Manning was second in 1997. Eli Manning was third in 2003.

Texas quarterback Arch Manning — Archie’s grandson and Peyton and Eli’s nephew — is projected as a Heisman candidate by several major publications. In fact, some have rated him as the Heisman favorite.
