NFL Draft picks among key statistical indicators of success in the SEC

Talking season is officially over as the Aggies head into Mike Elko's second year at A&M. Six players are back who could have been NFL Draft picks in April, and roster stability is one of the few indicators that suggest A&M could again push for an SEC Championship Game berth.

Texas A&M head football coach Mike Elko has made the rounds of SEC Media Days and Coach’s Nights across the state of Texas this summer.

One message has remained consistent: NFL Draft picks.

Elko preached the importance of loading A&M’s roster with NFL Draft talent.
