On Wednesday's edition of TexAgs Live, Kaylee Dreyer took us Around Aggieland as Texas A&M football won its first game against UTSA, the volleyball and soccer programs remain undefeated, and women's golf took home first place in the Carmel Cup.

Football
No. 19 Texas A&M secured its first win of the 2025 season, beating UTSA, 42-24, in front of the sixth-largest crowd and largest season-opening crowd at Kyle Field. 

Marcel Reed led the offense with a career-high four passing touchdowns and completed 22-of-34 passes for 289 yards, to go along with 41 rushing yards. KC Concepcion and Mario Craver combined for 11 receptions, 194 yards and three touchdowns in their first game as Aggies.

On defense, Taurean York led the defense with 10 tackles and one tackle for loss. Marcus Ratcliffe added seven total tackles, including one tackle for loss and a career-high two pass breakups.

The Aggies stayed put at No. 19 in the AP Poll and were joined by nine other SEC teams making the Top 25. Next up, the Aggies will look to improve their record to 2-0 as they take on Utah State in Kyle Field on Saturday at 11:45 a.m.

Soccer
Kaylee Noble
earned SEC Offensive Player of the Week recognition and landed a spot on the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week after her performance in their 7-1 win over Lafayette.

She had seven points, registering three goals and an assist in 46 minutes. Kaylee had the first hat trick for the Aggies since 2023 and the first one at Ellis Field since 2016.

Women’s Golf
The No. 7 Texas A&M women's golf team won the Carmel Cup with a 26-stroke victory, shooting a 13-under 1,067 for the tournament. Cayetana Fernández García-Poggio earned the individual title after firing a four-under 68 on the final day.

Volleyball
No. 9 Texas A&M volleyball swept Rice and added another win against Central Arkansas, which was highlighted by four Aggies recording double-digit kills.

The team looks to remain undefeated as Jamie Morrison and his team travel to take on Utah and Utah State on Thursday and Friday.
