I was not exactly blessed with winnings in the plays I shared with y’all in Week 1. I learned a valuable lesson: “Don’t take any WR more than in Week 1.” We really didn’t know how those rooms would shake out, and we certainly got burned. We won’t have the three top-10 matchups that we had just a week ago, so we have to turn to PrizePicks to make these games interesting. Not every game has numbers out yet, so be sure to keep checking the app as they come out this week. I’ll be sniping them as they appear.

Aggie of the Week (1-0 Record)

WR Ashton Bethel-Roman
MORE THAN 0.5 Rec + Rush TD
This is for sure going to be a demon, but ABR played 56 snaps, which was more than any other receiver for Texas A&M. Luke Evangelist had him last week as his Aggie of the Week. He didn’t find the endzone last time, but he will be playing throughout the game, even in garbage time, as A&M is favored by 31.5 points right now.

Lineup of the Week

Seth Anderson, WR, Iowa
LESS THAN 24.5 Receiving Yards
If there’s one thing that is a guarantee at this point, it is an Iowa Hawkeye team with a grotesque passing attack. After there was so much hope with new South Dakota State transfer QB Mark Gronowski coming into the ship, it was eviscerated when Hawkeye fans watched him throw for only 44 yards the whole game and miss several open throws. Anderson led the team in receptions with a whopping two for nine yards. I think we’re on the right side of this one.

Mark Gronowski, QB, Iowa
LESS THAN 136.5 Passing Yards
One thing that I didn’t note before is that former highly rated and ex-Auburn QB Hank Brown is on this roster. If Gronowski is bad enough, could we see a change here? Did I also mention that those 44 yards last week came against UAlbany on 8-of-15 passing? Yes, I’ll shave off a few dollars on the reward of this Flex Play in order to get this positive correlation stack.

Isaac Brown, RB, Louisville
MORE THAN 96.5 Rushing Yards
Brown was the best true freshman running back in the country last year after he garnered over 1,000 rushing yards on 7.1 yards per carry. He faces a James Madison team that is favored to win the Sun Belt, so they are no slouch. If Brown gets his healthy dose of 14 or 15 carries, he should hit this mark. Of course, a lot of this is game plan and game script dependent, but I still like this play. Not many times this year are we going to get his rushing total at less than 100 yards.

Bryce Underwood, QB, Michigan
MORE THAN 183.5 Passing Yards
It wasn’t perfect, but Underwood showed exactly why Michigan was willing to open the checkbook for him. Oklahoma’s Ben Arbuckle and John Mateer started right where they left off at Washington State and looked super explosive as an offense that has all of its health. If Michigan is going to stay in this one, they may have to do it with Underwood’s arm.

Jordan Marshall, RB, Michigan
LESS THAN 43.5 Rushing Yards
Last year, we were fading Donovan Edwards early and saw Kalel Mullings reward us for taking him several times. This year, I want to get ahead of the curve again. Alabama transfer Justice Haynes was remarkable last game as he averaged almost 10 yards per carry and had three touchdowns in his Michigan debut. Marshall is a talented running back in his own right, but if the Wolverines know what’s good for them, they’ll take a healthy dose of their Haynes vitamins and leave Marshall in the cupboard against Oklahoma.

Other Dawson Selections

Ryan Wingo, WR, Texas - MORE THAN 71.5 Receiving Attempts
Rocco Becht, QB, Iowa State - LESS THAN 236.5 Passing Yards
Bryson Washington, RB, Baylor - MORE THAN 17.5 Rushing Attempts
Sawyer Robertson, QB, Baylor - MORE THAN 280.5 Passing Yards
Walker Eget, QB, San Jose State - MORE THAN 0.5 Pass+Rush+Rec TD
