I really like what I saw from John Mateer. A lot of these quarterbacks, like Joey Aguilar from Tennessee, there are a lot of them that start off good and catch your attention. Probably no more so than Mateer, because they played a ranked team, even though I don’t think Michigan is a good team. I think if they were in the SEC, they’d be battling 6-6.
