Key for A&M's offense vs. top-10 foe is getting back to the basics

Texas A&M has scored over 40 points in each of its first two games of the season, and the Aggies posted over 550 yards in a Week 2 victory vs. Utah State. However, as the Maroon & White venture north to play No. 8 Notre Dame, the key to succeeding on offense will be getting back to the basics.

As much as I’m sure everyone is thrilled to read about Utah State one more time, I’m ready to move on to Notre Dame.

We’ve seen a wide range of results from the offense through the first two games, so I’m hoping to see some more balance and consistency when No. 16 Texas A&M shows up to South Bend.

The real season starts now, and if this offense wants to accomplish its goals, it’s time to get back to the basics.
