BOY, OH BOY. You all went nuclear in the thread last week. Winners after winners. The Marcel Reed rushing call was a banger, and we hope to stay rolling here. It’s a tough slate because now we begin conference games, even when all of our questions for some of these teams haven’t been answered yet. Either way, now is the right time to get hot.

*Numbers are subject to change*

Aggie of the Week (2-1 Record)

De’Von Achane, RB, Miami Dolphins
MORE THAN 3.5 Rushing Yards on First Attempt
With no Texas A&M football this week, we must turn to the NFL. I know this is an incredibly volatile play, but with the Bills missing Ed Oliver, Larry Ogunjobi and now Matt Milano, this already suffering run defense could take a hit. I don’t want the full game number because of the possibly of a negative game script, so we will roll with this one.

Lineup of the Week

Hank Beatty, WR, Illinois
MORE THAN 63.5 Receiving Yards
The star wideout for Illinois is squaring off with a solid secondary in Indiana. However, Beatty has been unstoppable in every way. Since the bowl game from a season ago, he has been on a tear with an improving QB in Luke Altmyer. We’re riding the hot hand here.

Mark Gronowski, QB, Iowa
LESS THAN 130.5 Passing Yards
We know how terrible this offense is. Even with Rutger’s Joe Harasymiak departing to UMass in the offseason, I still trust this defense to shut down what has been an atrocious passing attack. While it has incrementally gotten better every week, I’m not buying that this number surpasses 130.5.

Jackson Arnold, QB, Auburn
MORE THAN 42.5 Rushing Yards
I get that Oklahoma’s defensive line is better than anything Auburn has seen so far this year, but when put in a situation where he has to make plays, Arnold has done it with his legs. The offensive line seems to have lived up to the preseason billing, and if they continue down this path, this number could hit in the first half.

Caleb Douglas, WR, Texas Tech
MORE THAN 3.5 Receptions
Texas Tech hasn’t played anyone worth a darn all year, and while it’s been the Coy Eakin show, Douglas is still their most talented receiver. Douglas will need to be used this week as they square off with a Big 12 favorite in the Utah Utes. I expect a heavy dose of the pass game, and lots of that to go Douglas’ way.

Deion Burks, WR, Oklahoma
MORE THAN 65.5 Receiving Yards
When Burks is healthy, he has proved that he’s not only the best receiver on this team, but he’s also one of the best in the conference. Auburn’s secondary hasn’t looked spectacular this year, and with some injuries in that front-seven, John Mateer could have quite the day. I expect Burks to end the game with more than 100 yards, let alone 65.5.

Other Dawson Selections

Adam Randall, RB, Clemson - MORE THAN 90.5 Rushing Yards
Jeremyiah Love, RB, Notre Dame - MORE THAN 101.5 Rushing Yards
Darian Mensah, QB, Duke - MORE THAN 305.5 Passing Yards
Beau Pribula, QB, Missouri - MORE THAN 1.5 Pass TDs
Carson Beck, QB, Miami - LESS THAN 272.5 Passing Yards
