Key notes from Trayveon Williams interview

  • I am in my seventh year in the league. There were six with the Cincinnati Bengals. Now, I am with the Cleveland Browns. Blessed to still be doing it.

  • Auburn was always an interesting experience., It was my first time getting into the endzone as a collegiate athlete. They always had a great system with guys who compete and some great players. I hope we go out there and get the dub. I have high praise for Auburn.

  • It is crazy looking back at my time at A&M. I was committed to TCU originally, but then A&M asked me to come to campus. Coach Kevin Sumlin and his staff came to my house. They told me what my life was going to look like. Graduate from high school early, got into the field and played football and had a successful career. It was also such a family at A&M. There is something about Aggieland. Once you get there, it is hard to leave. I am so thankful for my time there and everything A&M has done for my life.

  • Our running backs are dynamic. They bring a special kind of sense to the offense. They stand out. They bring a one-two punch in Rueben Owens II and Le’Veon Moss. They complement Marcel Reed, especially with his ability with his legs as well. Auburn has a top defense in the SEC. I am excited to see how they prepare for this one. It is going to be a game won in the trenches.

  • The game is going to be won at the line of scrimmage. At any level of football, you have to be able to run the ball. In order for A&M to win this game, they have to utilize the pass. Auburn is shady in the secondary. If A&M can run the ball, pass it too, and stop the run, they will get the win.

  • LSU was the team I hated most. It was always the last game of the season. Always a good game against them. The seven overtime game against them was insane. I played in the NFL with a lot of LSU guys, so it still went on. Still to this day, the longest game ever in history, I think. My first interaction with Joe Burrow, I dapped him up. Told him, “74-72.” He said, “F you.”

  • To play with Myles Garrett again has been great. Playing with him in college, seeing a real NFL talent in college. He is rare. He was made in a lab. His workout routine was crazy. What we are witnessing in the NFL right now, he is 2.5 sacks away from having the most sacks from a defensive end before 30. He is a Hall of Fame guy. I am so happy I can still play with him.

Key notes from Tre Mason interview

  • I am a personal trainer now.

  • Johnny Manziel played a great game in 2013. Mike Evans had like 300 yards.

  • We knew we were going to play great players in that 2013 game. Everyone knows what Manziel did. He was a great player, and he could make a play at any time. We knew we had to win that game.

  • I was getting recruited by a lot of schools. At one time, LSU wanted me as a defensive back out of high school. That 2010 Auburn team won the national championship, and I was like, "That's the No. 1 team in the nation at the time. I am taking that opportunity."

  • I do feel like Auburn is on the right path. In that Auburn-Oklahoma game, I do feel like there were calls that did not get called. The pass inference, I feel like a lot of people knew that was PI.

  • I do like the offensive scheme they are running this year. They are actually utilizing certain personnel for the offense. Cam Coleman is getting the ball more. Jackson Arnold being able to use his legs, and I do like Jeremiah Cobb in the backfield. Another player that stands out is Eric Singleton Jr. He is in the slot. It should be a good game.

  • Definitely rooting for Auburn. War Eagle.

  • There weren't many teams that I couldn't really stand. The rivalry of the Iron Bowl, of course, there is a lot more emotion in that game. No matter what your record is, it was looked at like a national championship. Those are the pro teams in that state.
