How did the Aggies perform against their visitors from the FCS? About as expected. But while the win was easy and the injuries minimal, there remain a few things to take from Saturday and into the Mizzou game.

Following predictable hangover, smooth sailing once again

What went right: For the eighth straight game, the Aggies scored a touchdown on their opening drive, this one a 12-play, 72-yard march. The Ags slowed down a bit after that and punted on back-to-back possessions. But then they ripped through the Sam Houston defense time after time with ease. After the two punts, A&M produced touchdowns on six of the next seven possessions.
