A&M QB Marcel Reed vs. LSU LB Harold Perkins Jr.
A year ago, LSU learned of Reed. He came off the bench in the third quarter to rally A&M from a 10-point deficit to a 38-23 victory. Reed rushed for 62 yards and three touchdowns. Perkins was not there to stop him. Once considered LSU’s best defensive player, Perkins missed that game because of injury. He’s back now and leads LSU with two sacks and has posted 32 tackles. Reed doesn’t run as frequently this season.
