Recent flips highlight the simple fact of 'recruiting remains recruiting'

Over the last few days, Texas A&M has flipped a prospect from Houston, but the Aggies have also lost a pledge who changed his commitment to Oklahoma. Even with the birth of pre-negotiated NIL deals, there is still plenty of movement right up to the start of the early signing period.

A couple of weeks ago, I sat at the desk on TexAgs Live during a Recruiting Country segment and put forth a hypothesis in which I stated that, due to the birth of pre-negotiated NIL deals, we would see less late movement as we arrive upon the early signing period.

Well, here we are, just eight days from prospects putting pen to paper, and I think we can go ahead and dump that prognostication in the trash can.
